Koblenz, picturesquely situated at the confluence of the Moselle and Rhine, is one of the oldest cities in Germany and, with its surroundings, offers an extraordinary cultural landscape with castles and churches. Large parts of the city are part of the Middle Rhine Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site. From April to October 2011, the Federal Garden Show attracts numerous visitors to the region.
After an introduction to the history of Koblenz, the city guide presents the individual sights using numerous color photos: Deutsches Eck, Ludwig Museum, St. Kastor, Jakobuskapelle, Von-der-Leyenscher-Hof, St. Florin, Middle Rhine Museum, Old Castle , Liebfrauenkirche, town hall, banks of the Rhine, electoral palace u.a. Finally, the publication is dedicated to the town of Ehrenbreitstein and its fortress, which, among other
